SYDENHAMS Wessex One outfit New Milton Town are understood to have parted company with boss Luke Phillips after just eight games in charge.
Phillips is believed to have been shown the door following Linnets’ 4-1 defeat by Downton at Fawcett’s Field on Tuesday.
Under his stewardship – which started with a 10-0 defeat at Weymouth – New Milton lost all eight games, conceding no fewer than 38 goals and scoring just two.
Phillips, who played for Hamworthy United and Merley Cobham Sports, previously managed Poole Borough in the Dorset Premier League.
