POOLE Town continued their steady start in National South with a 0-0 draw at Truro City last night.
Luke Roberts and Steve Devlin both went close during a scrappy first half in Cornwall, with thunder and lightning initially threatening the start at Treyew Road.
Nick Hutchings then kept out a Niall Thompson effort in the second half as Dolphins took their early season points tally to 19 - seven behind pacesetters Maidenhead.
Meanwhile, in the Sydenhams Premier Division Bashley drew 2-2 at home to Moneyfields, while Poppies saw off Verwood Town 4-3 at Victoria Park.
Christchurch lost 3-2 at Tadley Calleva in Sydenhams One.
