FORMER Poole Town coach Gavin Reeves has been appointed Verwood Town manager.
The 47-year-old succeeds Alan Lay who quit the Potterne Park club nine days ago.
A club statement read: "Verwood Town FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Reeves as the new first-team manager.
"Gavin is a very popular figure at the club following a successful spell as a coach.
"He is extremely enthusiastic about the challenge ahead and we wish him all the best in his new role."
