SHANE Traynor has vowed to stick with youngsters when Hamworthy United meet Horndean in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier tonight (7.45pm).

Boss Traynor chose a youthful side for Saturday's heavy defeat at champions Salisbury with the likes of Liam Lindsay, Josh Rose, Asa Phillips, Frankie White and Callum O'Hare involved in the squad.

Traynor told the Daily Echo: "In the last couple of games we will continue to give the youngsters a go. They need to gain experience and the only way they will get that is by playing.

"I want to give youngsters an opportunity and if they end up going to a higher level then that's great and I have done my job.

"It's a learning curve for all of them but it will serve them well in future."

Jack Satterley is set to return to the fold for the clash with Horndean and Traynor added: "It's great to have him back because he's been a big miss."

Brockenhurst are due to face their third game in five days when Moneyfields travel to Grigg Lane tomorrow.

Christchurch are also in midweek action with their penultimate fixture of the Wessex One campaign being a trip to Totton & Eling on Thursday (both 7.45pm).
