DORSET'S non-league fraternity is in mourning following the death of popular footballer Steve Moore.
Steve, who played for Wimborne Town, Poppies, Verwood, Christchurch and Dorchester, lost his fight with cancer at the age of 32.
Wimborne captain Scott Arnold led the tributes on social media, posting: "Words can't describe how much this amazing guy Steve Moore will be missed. Today is truly a sad day!
"Amazing friend that you will never replace! Always had a smile on his face no matter how much pain he was in, true fighter and legend.
"Love you mate see you soon xxxx"
