SHANE Traynor has urged Hamworthy United to delay Salisbury's seemingly-inevitable title celebrations.

The Whites, managed by former Portsmouth and Millwall frontman Steve Claridge, would all-but seal the Sydenhams Wessex Premier crown with victory at the County Ground tonight (7.45pm).

Hamworthy will aim to boost their hopes of a top-half finish against a side that has lost just twice in the league this season.

Hammers boss Traynor told the Daily Echo: "It will be a great occasion for both clubs.

"It's fantastic what Salisbury have achieved this year and they are a great side, so we're looking forward to the test.

"Could we spoil the party? We probably could and that's the way we look at it.

"We will set out with a gameplan and we have to stick by it, although it's going to be difficult because their mindset is a winning one given they have not lost in 18 league games.

"With the young players we have got, it's going to be a huge occasion for us."

Hamworthy, who look set to shatter their highest home attendance of the season, are set to be without hamstring injury victim Jack Satterley.

In Wessex One, Ringwood Town travel to Pewsey Vale (7.45pm).
