Deeney has been Watford’s goalscoring standard-bearer since switching from Walsall in August 2010 and the fact he has yet to notch this term will not worry the Hornets faithful just yet.

Has displayed all the right credentials to make an impact on his long-awaited maiden voyage in the top flight and has weighed in with a trio of assists already.
