OLLIE Cherrett has resigned as Merley Cobham Sports manager and immediately taken charge of Wessex League Christchurch.
The Daily Echo this afternoon reported Priory had interviewed a number of candidates before picking Cherrett over the past week.
The Hurn Bridge club were expected to officially unveil their new boss after today’s home derby with Ringwood Town but made the announcement via the club's Twitter feed ahead of kick-off.
Christchurch FC can confirm that Ollie Cherrett has been appointed as first team manager! Ollie will take charge after today's game!
