NEW Verwood Town striker Jack Swann is set for “a few weeks” on the sidelines with a hamstring complaint.

The ex-Poppies and Christchurch frontman scored on his debut against Newport (IOW) but was withdrawn from Wednesday’s 1-0 home league defeat to Fawley.

Manager Carl Poore names an otherwise unchanged squad for tomorrow’s FA Cup extra preliminary round tie with Newport (3pm).

Poore told the Daily Echo: “It was a bad night for us. Jack’s injury was a big blow and we were second best all over the pitch.

“We hit the post, the crossbar and put the ball over from three yards but overall, Fawley worked hard and deserved their win.”

Lymington Town will be without Harrison Weeks (injured), Will Tickle (suspended), Darren Ritchie and Tom Man (unavailable) against Bitton.

Lymo's home tie has been transferred to Fawcett’s Field, New Milton due to the fixture clashing with a cricket match on the Lymington Sports Ground.

Bournemouth Poppies host AFC Portchester.

  • Suspended Craig Barnett is the only absentee for New Milton Town's trip to Western League outfit Sherborne Town, who play a level higher than the Linnets.

Bullish boss Callum Brooks said: “We are at pretty much full strength and going there to get ourselves in the hat.”

  • Christchurch will be without ex-Cherries man Christer Warren for Sunday's home tie with Cadbury Heath (3pm).

Adam Stride, Matt Swindlehurst and Shaun Brian also miss out on tackling a team who play one level higher than Priory.

  • Ringwood Town frontrunner Tom Faulkner could miss up to two months with a broken foot.

Matt Steer also misses tomorrow’s Sydenhams Wessex One trip to Downton (3pm) through suspension.
