BOSS Tom Killick insists there will be no summer overhaul at Poole Town after agreeing terms with four members of his existing squad.

Five defeats in the final nine games of last season saw Dolphins surrender the Southern League title in heartbreaking fashion before losing to St Neots in the promotion play-offs.

But despite the harrowing end to the campaign, Killick has declared his intent to keep hold of the club's senior stars and started by confirming the retention of experienced quartet Michael Walker, Carl Pettefer, Steve Devlin and Carl Preston ahead of Poole's push to go one better.

Killick told the Daily Echo: "Negotiations are ongoing with a number of players and more should follow in the coming weeks. I am hoping to keep hold of pretty much everyone."

"The only difficulty we may have is with Harrison Gilkes, who is now living back in Reading permanently.

"It was in his interests to play here when he left Bournemouth but his circumstances have changed. It is something we're looking at but it could be a tricky one to resolve."
