FOOTBALL: Ringwood Town rounded off their home campaign with a keenly-contested 1-0 defeat to Team Solent, whose victory secured them the Sydenhams Wessex League Division One title.
Pedro de Carvalho struck the visitors' goal on 22 minutes, slamming home a cross-shot by Jesse Lassen.
Town player-manager Charlie Pierson hit the post and had one effort headed off the line but the hosts could not quite force a breakthrough.
