PRIZE money at this year's Scottish Open at Loch Lomond has been increased by £500,000 to £3million.
First prize at the July 12-15 event, the final warm-up tournament ahead of The Open at Carnoustie, will be £1/2m.
That is four times the amount collected by Denmark's Thomas Bjorn when he won the inaugural event in 1996.
Barclays have also agreed to continue their sponsorship of the event until 2012.
