WIMBORNE Town's injury problems are clearing ahead of their Southern League clash with Yate Town tomorrow (3pm).

Adam Costello and Jamie Davidson are in contention to start following substitute appearances in the 2-0 defeat at Mangotsfield United last Saturday.

It is hoped that midfielder Jon Blake will return but Jack Lupton looks set to miss out.

Six of Wimborne's eight remaining Division One South & West games are at home and boss Steve Cuss is relishing a return to Cuthbury.

He told the club website: "Early in the season we had a lot of difficult away games and now we are into the reverse fixtures, we have the benefit of home advantage.

"We are really looking forward to playing in front of a home crowd again and Yate will be strong opponents.

"We won there earlier in the season with a really good away performance but they have changed manager since then and have had some good results."

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Verwood will hope to return to winning ways when they travel to second-bottom Fareham.

Victory for Carl Poore's men would do lowly Christchurch a favour, with Adie Arnold's side at home to Newport.

Fellow strugglers Bournemouth Poppies entertain Winchester City while Lymington Town are on the road to Andover Town.

In Division One, New Milton will aim to leapfrog Amesbury and Cowes Sports with three points at Andover New Street.

Elsewhere, Ringwood travel to Hythe & Dibden.
