BOSS Shane Traynor believes Hamworthy United deserve a top-10 finish in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier.

Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Andover Town (3pm), Traynor told the Daily Echo: “The lads deserve it because their work rate and effort has been fantastic.

"It would be good for the team and the club and if we can do that then great.”

Meanwhile, in-form Lymington will target their sixth win a row when they journey to lowly Fareham in Sydenhams Wessex Premier.

Lymo are off the back of an impressive 3-0 win at Whitchurch on Wednesday, a game in which Tom Man, Brad Strickland and Lerone Plummer found the net, while 39-year-old non-league stalwart Paul Gazzard made his debut.

Elsewhere, Poppies entertain Blackfield, Christchurch visit Horndean and Verwood travel to Winchester City.

In Wessex One, New Milton continue their title chase at US Portsmouth while Ringwood are at home to Tadley (all games 3pm).
