WIMBORNE Town boss Steve Cuss is adamant his side will not be intimidated by the red-hot form of Evesham United.

Magpies travel to the Jubilee Stadium on Saturday to face a team that has lost only once in 17 outings (3pm).

However, Cuss says his players are not fazed by the challenge ahead.

He told the club website: “We know what a good side Evesham are and they are much stronger now than they were when we played them earlier in the season.

“But we always go into games in the belief that we can win them and this one is no different.”

Midfielder Jon Blake will return but Jamie Davidson (ankle) is a doubt. Boss Cuss is hopeful of extending the loan spell of work experience youngster Luke Holmes.

  • Lymington are without suspended duo Stuart Williamson and Jordan Rose for their Sydenhams Wessex Premier clash with Alresford (3pm). Ben Sullivan and Luke Ansell miss out through injury.

Elsewhere in the division, Hamworthy United travel to AFC Portchester, Christchurch are away to Folland Sports and Verwood Town host Isle of Wight side Newport (all 3pm).

On Verwood’s survival effort, Potters boss Carl Poore said: “I firmly believe that we’re safe, although this is football and you never know.

“With the form we’re in and with the players we have to come back, there is no reason why we can’t push for a top-10 spot.”

In Wessex One, Ringwood entertain New Milton (3pm).
