POOLE Town will host lower-league opposition in the Red Insure Cup semi-final after being paired with Egham Town.

The Sarnies ply their trade one division below the Dolphins and sit 14th in the Southern League Central Division.

It arguably represents the most favourable draw for Poole with Premier Division promotion rivals Corby Town taking on Southern South & West outfit North Leigh in the other tie.

Egham toppled Premier Division Slough 4-2 in the opening round and twice came back from two goals down at Burnham, progressing 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw. Their other wins came against Godalming and North Greenford.

Dwayne Antonio is Egham’s top scorer in the competition with three goals.

Victory in the last four would double Poole’s current prize pot to £1,500. The winners receive £3,500.
