MERLEY striker Luke Stone has reached a dual-registration agreement with Southern League Wimborne Town.
Stone, who has scored 26 goals in 17 Dorset Premier League matches this season, will train with the Cuthbury outfit but continue to represent Merley on Saturdays.
The Magpies will benefit from his services when Merley are not playing and in midweek.
Merley boss Ollie Cherrett told the Daily Echo: "Both clubs are happy with arrangement but more importantly it is the right move for Luke at this stage."
Meanwhile, Wimborne have recruited Cherries youngster Luke Holmes on a work experience loan.
Holmes, who has just had a brief stint at Hamworthy United, will join for an initial 28-day period and will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's home clash with Larkhall, subject to paperwork.
