LEADING marksman Graeme Rose plundered a hat-trick as free-scoring Swanage Town & Herston handed out another thrashing – with Tintinhull on the receiving end of a 5-0 defeat at Day’s Park.
Swans, fresh from their 9-2 midweek win over Poole Borough in the Dorset Senior Cup, dominated the first half but only had Rose’s opener to show for their efforts.
However, the floodgates opened in the second half when Rose netted twice to complete his hat-trick before Jack Watson and Josh Reavenall-Nuete rounded off an emphatic victory.
Swans, who have scored no fewer than 19 goals in their past three games, will be hoping to maintain their form when they host leaders Merley Cobham Sports in the League Cup on Saturday.
Dan Loader bagged a double as Cranborne claimed a 3-2 victory at Shaftesbury with Greg O’Mallo also on target for the Cranes.
Goals from James Bailey- Pearce, Dan Hiscock, Jamie Wilson and Matt Newbery failed to save Parley Sports from defeat as Weymouth reserves prevailed 7-4 following an eventful clash at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
Ed Bastick and Adam Linaker both netted twice as champions Portland United registered a 4-2 home win over Westland Sports.
