HAMWORTHY United manager Graham Kemp has urged his players to “put on a show” in their opening home match against Brockenhurst tomorrow (7.45pm).
Hammers kicked off their Wessex League campaign with a 1-0 defeat at Horndean on Saturday with Kemp keen for his much-fancied side to bank three precious points ahead of some tough assignments in the coming weeks.
Kemp told the Daily Echo: “Saturday was a disappointment and the lads have got a few things to put right.
“We have a tricky game against Winchester coming up so this one is important because we don’t want to be playing catch up.
“It’s our first home game and I want us to put on a show so people can see what we're about.”
Winger Tom Price could miss out with a minor injury but the rest of United’s squad should remain unchanged.
Hammers: (from) Ackerman, Yelland, Haysom, Legg, Donachy, Hester, Blackburn, Hubbard, Allen, Martin, Cook, Osborne, Warren, Penny, Cole, Pidgley, Price.
