TAVLA Spor made higher league status count as they swept aside Kinson Con 3-0 in the M A Hart Lawrence A Brivati Cup final on Thursday.

Despite having been unbeaten in Bournemouth FA competitions this season, Con were unable to bridge the one-tier gap to the Division Four champions at Hurn Bridge as Spor succeeded thanks to goals from Chia Khider, Husam Aurow and Yoseph Bajandouh.

The winners did come under some early pressure as keeper Serkan Kartalkanat was forced to push onto the crossbar Jon Watt’s lofted effort before Spor defender Ersin Guldede hacked off the line following a corner.

However, Tavla seized the initiative on 10 minutes when Khider broke from midfield and found the top corner with a 30- yard rocket before Aurow doubled their lead eight minutes later direct from a corner.

Kinson kept plugging away but efforts from Watt and Callum Doe proved fruitless before the interval.

The match settled down after half-time and Spor wrapped up their victory with 72 minutes on the clock. A slick passing move ended with Bajandouh slipping the ball past keeper Aaron Wyeth.

Watt struck the woodwork with a header for Kinson but it would have proved mere consolation.
