BASHLEY produced a stirring comeback to snatch an unlikely point following a pulsating 3-3 draw with Premier Division rivals Banbury United.
The Puritans raced into a 3-0 lead at the Spencer Stadium with Albi Skendi, Marvin Martin and Adeyinka Talabi on target for the hosts.
Bash appeared to be staring down the barrel after Skendi and Martin had netted within four minutes of each other before substitute Talabi added a third 21 minutes from time.
However, skipper Jack Odam then took centre stage when he set about starting a salvage mission by netting twice in three minutes to give Bash a scent of snatching a point.
And just when it seemed their brave fightback would count for nothing, Bash levelled five min-utes into added time when sub Scott Joyce netted to spark jubi-lant scenes among the visitors.
Bash: Jones, Strickland, Roberts, Ansell, Marden, Bulpitt, Blackmore (Joyce, 58), Soetan, Kenna, Odam, Morris. Unused subs: Brookes, Manders, Rolls, Gazzard.
- Injury-hit Wimborne were con-demned to a 2-1 defeat by Division One South & West play-off hope-fuls Paulton Rovers at Cuthbury.
Former Bristol Rovers striker Josh Klein-Davies fired the visitors ahead before Sam Griffin levelled with a header.
Rovers regained the lead when Brandon Barnes poked home from close range 16 minutes from time before Billy Maybury almost grabbed an unlikely equaliser at the death.
Magpies: Harvell, Arnold (Brimson, 90), Maybury, Oliver, Donachy, Blake, Griffin, Grose (Burton-Hemmings, 70), Stokoe, Davidson, Webb. Unused sub: Battison.
