BOSS Paul Gazzard wants Bashley to go for the jugular and heap more home misery on relegation rivals Frome Town.

With four points from 11 away days, rock-bottom Bash have still enjoyed better form on the road than their Somerset counterparts – who appointed their third permanent manager of the season before Christmas – have managed on home soil.

Frome, who sit just above the drop zone and 15 points clear of Bash, have a meagre three draws to show for their efforts at the Aldersmith Stadium this season, with Gazzard keen to kick-start an unlikely survival bid tomorrow (3pm).

“People might see getting a draw on the road as a positive result but we really need to be getting all three points there,” said Gazzard.

“From the information we have, they are not the best team with the ball but work very hard without it. They are quite direct so we have to get at them early on and try to rattle them.

“It is a massive six-pointer as far as we are concerned. The boys are very confident and looking sharp in training while Frome are on a bit of a low and will probably be feeling the pressure at home.

“It might be a good time to play them but, with a new manager in place, it can work both ways.”

Goalkeeper Nic Jones is back in contention for a starting berth while Declan Edwards will be fit enough for a place on the bench.

New signing Warren Kenna could make his debut but dual-registered midfielder Jamie Bulpitt has been recalled by parent club Eastleigh.
