WIMBORNE Town will be looking to continue their march on the goal trail when they entertain Yate Town tomorrow (3pm).

Despite some patchy form during December, Magpies are the fourth-highest scorers in Southern League Division One South & West with 51 goals.

Steve Cuss’s men have been particularly prolific at Cuthbury, netting no fewer than 33 times in 11 matches on home soil.

However, their cause could be hampered by James Stokoe’s suspension with the last match of the former Bashley frontrunner’s ban carrying over from Wednesday’s postponed clash against Tiverton Town.

Playmaker Jamie Davidson (illness) also misses out against a Yate side who are perched three points above Wimborne on the outskirts of the play-off places, with two games in hand on their Dorset rivals.

Defender Adam Costello could return following a shoulder injury.

Magpies: (from) Harvell, Arnold, Wilson, Oliver, Costello, Middleton, Blake, Sainsbury, Maybury, Webb, Kemble, Gamble, Griffin, Burton-Hemmings, Donachy, Roast, Ackerman.

  • Basement outfit Bashley will be hoping to enhance their poor record when they entertain Redditch United in the Southern Premier (3pm).

Struggling Bash have registered just one victory and a total of five points from their 20 league matches so far this season.
