Wimborne full value for big win says Cuss
JUBILANT boss Steve Cuss felt Wimborne Town had been “full value” for their 6-0 victory over Evesham United and claimed his side could have scored more.
Ulsterman Mark Gamble snaffled the first of his hat-trick before being felled by United goalkeeper John Bateman with Micky Hubbard converting the penalty.
James Stokoe got in on the act before Gamble added his second and third prior to substitute Matt Kemble scoring number six.
Cuss told the Daily Echo: “We were clinical in attacking areas and it was well deserved. If anything, we could have had a couple more.
“Mark Gamble really had the bit between his teeth. He is very keen to make a success of himself at the club and his finishing was top class.”
Cuss expects to name an unchanged 16 for tomorrow’s trip to table-toppers Bridgwater Town (3pm) who are the only team to win all three Southern South & West matches so far.
Magpies: Harvell, Arnold (Maybury, 61), Whitley, Costello, Brian, Blake (Kemble, 74), Griffin, Hubbard, Stokoe, Gamble (Roast, 87), Webb. Unused subs: Davidson, Ackerman (g/k).
