Kemp: Priory need luck to win title

CHRISTCHURCH boss Graham Kemp is refusing to concede defeat in the title race – but he admits his men will need some luck.
Priory will be aiming to retain their outside chance of Wessex Premier glory when they entertain Newport (IOW) at Hurn Bridge tonight (7.45pm).
Kemp’s side are seven points behind big-spending championship favourites Blackfield & Langley and have games in hand on all the other teams ahead of them.
Kemp told the Daily Echo: “Alresford and Blackfield & Langley are in the driving seat and Blackfield are catching up with their games.
“We have got to play Alresford and if we beat them, it is in our hands to finish second.
“I would say that a top-three finish is achievable and that we would need a little bit of luck to go and win it.”
Kemp is hoping to have Chris Dillon available for selection as Priory continue to wait to receive his international clearance.
