Priory maintain title push

SAM Griffin, Ben Osborne, Russell Cook and Harry Cornick all struck to maintain Christchurch’s outside chance of Wessex Premier title glory.

The Priory attacking quartet were on target as Graham Kemp’s men registered a 4-1 victory over Lymington at Hurn Bridge on Saturday.

  • Martin Warren’s 42nd-minute equaliser earned a 1-1 home draw for Bournemouth Poppies against Horndean. Tommy Woodward had fired the visitors ahead on 29 minutes.
  • Relegation-threatened New Milton Town lost 1-0 against fellow strugglers Alton Town at Fawcett’s Field. Linnets visit Bemerton tonight (7.45pm).
  • Teenage defender Tony Rolls scored a last-gasp winner as Ringwood claimed a 1-0 victory at Laverstock & Ford in Wessex One.
