BOURNEMOUTH’S bid to finish the Southern Premier League season with a flourish takes them to Alton tomorrow.
The Chapel Gate outfit are playing for pride after their Division One title bid faded in the closing weeks of the campaign.
Boss David Ridley said: “It would be nice to end on a high – but everybody will say that.
“We’re looking to finish third. We didn’t think we could catch Havant and that’s proved to be the case.
“But we’ve had some good individual performances, so we might end with a few awards at the end of the season.”
Ben Lawes and Matt Mixer replace Dave Kidner and Matt Metcalfe in Craig de Weymarn’s side.
