LEFT arm spinner Jack Leach has been called into the Dorset side for the Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash against Berkshire at Dean Park.
The team, which includes five Bournemouth players, will be without Chris Jones, Steffan Jones and Paul Warren for the three-day match which begins tomorrow.
Bournemouth pair Simon Watkins and Dave Kidner come in to bolster the bowling attack, as does 16-year-old Leach.
The teenager, who plays his club cricket for Taunton Deane with former player Tom Webley, took six wickets against the county for Somerset seconds in a pre-season friendly.
Dorset boss Sean Walbridge said: “With Max Waller unavailable, we feel that we need someone who can turn the ball away from the bat and give the side better balance. Jack does this perfectly.”
Dorset: Treagus, N Park, Williams, Baker, C Park, Hicks, Metcalfe, Watkins, Kidner, Denham, Leach, Esson (12th man).
