BASHLEY will be gunning for revenge when they host rivals Lymington in the quarter-final of the Southern Electric Twenty20 Cup later this month.
Lymington, promoted from Division Two last season, registered a 16-run win over their Division One opponents in the second round of the competition 11 months ago.
The New Forest adversaries square up for their slog-fest at Bashley Road on Sunday, July 12 – just two days after they go head to head in the final of the New Forest CCA President’s Cup at Langley Manor.
And they will probably be sick of the sight of each other by then – with Bashley due to lock horns with Lymington for the first SPL time pennant clash between the two clubs on Saturday.
Twenty20 Cup holders Bournemouth’s reward for their crushing nine-wicket victory over Burridge is a trip to the Isle of Wight for a quarter-final showdown with Division Two high-fliers Ventnor.
Southern Electric Twenty20 Cup quarter-final draw: Bashley v Lymington, Portsmouth or Hambledon v Alton, Portsmouth & Southsea v Andover, Ventnor v Bournemouth.
