BASHLEY skipper Michael Porter urged his team-mates to be "fully prepared and motivated” when they travel to New Milton tomorrow (12.30pm).

The visitors will be hoping to bounce back following a three-run home reverse to South Wilts last time out.

New Milton are yet to complete a game this season. Rain scuppered their battle at Burridge after their opening fixture against Basingstoke & North Hants was cancelled.

Porter said: “Our grounds are half a mile apart so the rivalry is intense and they will be ready and waiting for us, none more so than Jake Lilley.

“We’ve come a cropper before at Fernhill, so we’ve got to be fully focused and on our game.”

The return of Chris Ridley behind the stumps will fuel Bashley in the field.

Dorset’s Josh Digby is expected to switch back to his opening role after last week sustaining a hand injury.

Seamer Lilley is set to line up against his former Bashley club-mates, anxious to improve on his short spell at Burridge, where his two overs cost 24 runs. Toby Edwards returns for the hosts.

New Milton: R Beck, L Beck, Loader, Watts, Lilley, Arnold, Gargaro, Hussey, Haggaty, Edwards, Watts.

Bashley: Andrew, Digby, Taylor, Porter, Morris, Jacques, Holly, Ridley, Thomson, Goodey, Currie.
