BASHLEY all-rounder George Pardoe and Canford schoolboy Zac Organ have earned places at Hampshire Academy ahead of the new season.
Priestlands School pupil Pardoe and 15-year-old spinner Organ are two of three new recruits, with wicketkeeper-batsman Miles Kantolinna also included.
Felix Organ – the older brother of Zac – Rory Hipwell, Tom Scriven and Chris Searle have returned to the staff after featuring throughout last year’s campaign.
Head of player development Charlie Freeston said: “We are pleased to welcome George, Miles and Zac to Hampshire Academy as part of this year’s intake.
“They join four quality cricketers in Felix, Tom, Rory and Chris, who were involved last season.
“All of the guys have impressed throughout the winter and continue to work hard ahead of what we hope will be an excellent season.”
Hampshire Academy are due to take on New Milton, St Cross, Andover and South Wilts in the opening month of the Southern Premier League campaign.
The youngsters finished second-bottom last year, claiming three victories including an emphatic win over 2015 champions South Wilts.
Felix Organ hit the headlines as a 16-year-old when he struck an unbeaten century against the Australian women’s team at the Ageas Bowl.
