DORSET defied the damp weather to make a strong start to their opening MCCA Championship home fixture against Cheshire yesterday.
Rain prematurely halted play at Chapel Gate with the visitors on 62 for four. Mark Wolstenholme took three wickets for 22 runs off 11 overs.
