DORSET suffered a 12-run defeat to Cornwall in their Unicorns Knockout Trophy Group One opener at Dean Park today.
Chris Park and co had looked in a strong position after they had bowled the visitors out for 117, Tom Hicks taking six for 30.
However, despite a positive start to their reply, Dorset lost five batsmen for the gain of just four runs and fell short on 105. Opener Jake Lintott top-scored on 39.
