CRICKET coach Greg Parsons has been recognised for services to the grassroots game.
Ex-England batsman Nick Knight presented Parsons with a special coaching certificate during the clash between England and Australia at The Ageas Bowl earlier this month.
As part of the Sky Sports ECB Coach Education programme, 14 coaches met with Knight and were acknowledged by the Reward and Recognition scheme.
Parsons has this year taken on the role of East Dorset head coach. For eight years, Parsons has established and delivered a disability programme, while also working with Bournemouth University squads and playing for Dorset League outfit Broadstone.
