BOURNEMOUTH have made two changes ahead of tomorrow’s Southern Premier League Great Escape mission at Bashley (12.30pm).

Alex Allum and Pete Smith have been drafted in as replacements for unavailable duo Curtis Watton and Gurpreet Singh.

To avoid retaining the wooden spoon – and possibly preserving their top-flight status – Lions must claim maximum points from their trip to the New Forest.

And should they repeat a feat they achieved in beating Lymington six days ago, Martin Miller’s men would also need St Cross to fail to collect four points at home to Alton.

Bashley skipper Richard Morris will be buoyed by his exploits for Berkshire on Wednesday, his superb century helping them lift the MCCA Knockout Trophy.

Morris (112) hit three sixes and 12 fours as Berkshire made 284 for nine from their 50 overs before Shropshire were dismissed for 156 in reply.

Lymington, smarting from their shock 73-run defeat by Bournemouth, face a shoot-out with Havant at the Sports Ground for the 50-over pennant, while New Milton complete their fixtures with a trip to Division One rivals Liphook & Ripsley.
