BASHLEY cricketer Ryan Higgins (pictured) capped his fine performances for England Under-19s by signing a full-time professional contract with Middlesex.
The 18-year-old all-rounder, who recently struck a century for the county’s second XI against Essex, has been in fine form and he penned the deal following the completion of his A-levels.
The exciting prospect top scored with a 79-ball 70 but could not save England from a 192-run defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the tri-series one-day final at Trent Bridge.
