The strategy is to get more goals than last season and get into the Championship, then we won't have to play the likes of "big" teams like Swinscum Town 'simples'!!!
Where the hell did this irrational hatred of us (Swindon) come from???? Is it just because you have come into a few quid and tried to buy Richie but we knocked you back? Or is the 12yo boys having a "my club is bigger than your club" argument in the playground. "Swinscum" FFS, get over it, where did that come from. Face up to the fact that we too have a few quid and are able to knock back good offers for players. Yes Matt R really is that good, yes we will also be pushing at the right end of the table with yourselves among others. Get over it - Pathetic.
Excuse me Warwickshire Red, I think you'll find that generally (I admit the Swinscum Town use is pretty pathetic) it's your lot that have been quick to throw in the "we're a bigger club than you" and "we'll be challenging for promotion and you'll be battling relegation" as soon as our bid for Ritchie was knocked back, then we retaliated. Personally, I think Swindon did well last season but do think they're you're turning into a cocky bunch (Paolo doesn't help that - moron) and can see it slapping you in the face next season in a much tougher league than Lg.2. Anyway, Ritchie isn't coming - that's a dead story. If a bid was accepted, i'm sure he'd have been keen though. So to get back to my point, the "irrational hatred of Swindon Town" is in fact, very rational, in that you lot jumped on us for bidding for your player.
    Ouch! "pathetic"????? :-(

Swinscum: Noun: A club from Wilts that thinks it is too big for the lower leagues, just like our now premiership level neighbours up the road did, though in their case were in hindsight right!

Anyway, am mighty sick of whining Robins on this site and many other sites who are worringly over-sensitive about the slightest mention of Matt Ritchie and like to tell us how loaded we are (?) and what a big club they are (?), now that is pathetic.

You might want to worry about how long you keep Di Canio for rather than Ritchie."

Cherries: Club agrees terms with striker

CHERRIES have agreed terms with an unnamed striker, as revealed on the Echo's Twitter feed last night.

Chairman Eddie Mitchell this morning confirmed a deal for the player could be completed within the next three days.

Echo sources had claimed Charlton's Paul Hayes could be the target, while Internet rumours linked fellow Valley star Leon Clarke with a move to Dean Court.

These appear to be wide of the mark, however, with the player understood to be currently plying his trade abroad.
