EDDIE Howe believes it'll be a "good match-up" between Cherries' strikers and former team-mate Tyrone Mings tomorrow.

Mings is set to feature for his new club Aston Villa having left Vitality Stadium in a deal worth around £26.5million this summer.

And Howe is looking forward to seeing his former player at Villa Park.

He said: "I think they (Cherries strikers) know how good Tyrone is from having trained with him over a long period of time.

"We'll know him well, he'll know us well. There's no doubting his qualities as a player, very good on the ball, very athletic, very strong and good in the air.

"I think it'll be a good match-up between our front players and him. It will be interesting to see how those duels come out in the match.

"But we wish Tyrone well, as I said when he left. We wish him well for the future and it will be good to catch-up with him."

Mings' form for Villa last season followed by his big-money move this summer have seen some suggestion of an England call-up for the 26-year-old.

And Howe believes he has the potential to make the step into the national set-up.

He said: "Tyrone's got all the attributes, there's no doubt about that.

"With us he was really unfortunate with injuries. He was never able to get that run in the team that he wanted.

"He was obviously fighting with Nathan (Ake) for a lot of the time for the same shirt.

"But there's no doubting his quality and it's no surprise he's gone on to do so well at Aston Villa and I'm sure he will have that (call-up) in his mind as something that he could achieve."
