BOSS Eddie Howe admitted he would think carefully over his team selection with £10million possibly riding on Cherries' final game of the season.

Cherries could finish anywhere from 10th and 15th with £2m increments in prize money between every position in the table.

And while opponents Burnley have wrapped up £28m having sealed seventh, Cherries will battle with Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Watford, Brighton and West Ham for the difference between £22m and £12m.

Howe said: "We know league placing is important but, for me, the money is not my first motivation.

"I want the club to earn as much as it can but it’s the individual pride and collective responsibility that we need to finish as high as we possibly can so we are taking the game very seriously."

Asked if he may throw in some younger players, Howe added: "I will try to pick a team to win the game.

"With so much at stake financially, it's a difficult balance to make too many changes.

"It wouldn't be right for the mindset so I have to be very careful with the team I pick while also acknowledging the fact that one or two players have been desperate for the chance to impress."
