CHARLIE Daniels believes Cherries' never-say-die attitude helped them over the winning line against relegation-haunted West Brom.

Goals from Jordon Ibe and Junior Stanislas saw Cherries come from behind after Jay Rodriguez had opened the scoring for the Baggies.

Daniels, who came off the bench to replace Simon Francis in the 17th minute, told the Daily Echo: "Anyone who was under the impression it was going to be an easy game could see it was far from it.

"We knew they would sit in, try to catch us on the counter-attack and make it hard for us, which they did for a large part of the game.

"We knew we needed to move the ball a bit quicker in the first half to get them moving and try to open up the gaps.

"As soon as we got the first goal, and being where they are in the league, they had to come out and press us a bit.

"That was when we could open them up a bit more and the game probably suited us a bit better. But it took a wonder free-kick from Junior to win us the game.

"It just shows the character we have in the team and the never-say-die attitude.

"If we go 1-0 down, we haven’t got the players to just jack it in and give up. We fight for everything and fight until the final whistle."
