EDDIE Howe today brought his press conference to a temporary halt – to present a birthday cake.
The Cherries boss completed the broadcast section of his pre-West Brom press conference and reporter Graham Nickless had been poised to kick off the questioning for the written publications.

But Howe stopped Nickless in his tracks by handing the sweet treat to the Vitality Stadium regular on his 65th birthday.
Howe said: "Can I stop you there? I've heard it's a big day.
"We'd like to present you with this. We have got the age right, yes? I thought it might be a seven not a six!
"Happy birthday and thanks for your dedicated work."
