GOALS from Mikael Ndjoli and Jordan Lee proved in vain as Cherries suffered a 3-2 defeat against Swindon Town in the Central League today.
Ndjoli fired Cherries ahead straight from kick-off at Canford Arena, the striker darting towards goal and unleashing a rasping 20-yarder, which was officially timed at just 10 seconds.
The Robins levelled on 12 minutes through Paul Mullin before Frankie Vincent went close to restoring Cherries' lead, only for Swindon to net twice through Kaiyne Woolery to reach the break leading 3-1.
Lee, who has been turning out for Cherries despite having his contract paid up in January, netted with a thunderous drive from the edge of the box four minutes into the second half.
And although Jaidon Anthony hit the crossbar for a young Cherries team, which included a number of trialists, the hosts were unable to fashion an equaliser.
