CHERRIES boss Eddie Howe believes ‘Wee Man’ Ryan Fraser has grown in stature thanks to a succession of eye-catching displays.

Winger Fraser played a key role in Cherries’ Boxing Day draw with West Ham and followed up by netting twice in the 2-1 win over Everton.

The Scottish international, who started both FA Cup games against Wigan, also starred in the win over Arsenal.

Howe said: “Ryan has certainly been in a good place in the past few weeks and his performances have been very good.

“He is growing in terms of his performances, his confidence, his goals, his game, everything.

“He always looks like he has time on the ball and that is one of the biggest qualities you can give any player.

“No defender in the world wants to be fronted up and attacked, especially with the pace we have in the team.

“That is one thing I really like about us. With Ryan, Jordon Ibe, Callum Wilson and Benik Afobe, we can really cause teams problems.”

Fraser made his Premier League debut in Cherries’ 1-0 defeat by West Ham at London Stadium last season and will be hoping to keep his place when they lock horns with the Hammers on Saturday.
