ARSENE Wenger blamed a “lack of decision-making” for his team’s first ever defeat to Cherries.

The Gunners looked well set to record a league double over the Dorset club when Hector Bellerin’s 52nd minute strike squirmed under keeper Asmir Begovic and fell into the net.

But Cherries roared back with goals from Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe to condemn the north London outfit to a 2-1 reverse.

Defeat means the Gunners have not recorded victory in five games in all competitions.

Wenger said: "I feel overall, physically, it was a tough game for us.

"It wasn't forced errors, just lack of decision-making.

"We didn’t create enough with the possession we had. We weren't sharp enough to create chances.

"Once you're 1-0 up you should create more chances. It's very frustrating and very disappointing.

"We made mistakes in areas where you wonder where they came from."

The Gunners boss also admitted Alexis Sanchez could leave Arsenal "in the next 48 hours".

"Alexis would have played but it's a difficult period for him,” he added.

"He's always been committed until now but he could have gone on Saturday and he could go in the next 48 hours.

"It was difficult for him because he was on standby. He did not refuse to play."
