LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp felt Cherries had not showed their true colours during their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of his Premier League high-fliers.

Klopp, who saw the Reds climb to fourth place, told the Daily Echo: “We were difficult to play against to be honest. We were well organised and had a clear structure.

“I didn’t think the game showed the real face of Bournemouth but it showed what we can do and how we can cause them problems.

“I didn’t think you saw a lot of the things you normally see from from Bournemouth mainly because of the performance of my boys. It was really good.

“We were really good in situations and everybody was ready for defending. Everybody knows what a fantastic football player Andrew Surman is and it was difficult for him to get the balls he usually gets. We had a defensive plan and it worked.

“It is a really tough place to come and, if you are not as concentrated or as focused as we were then it is impossible to get anything here. From the first second, we were really spot on. We scored some fantastic goals and controlled the game in the second half.

“Bournemouth maybe had one chance. I was really happy with the full package we showed and really satisfied.”
