EDDIE Howe reckons Tottenham will overcome their Wembley woes but says his Cherries players should relish playing in the national stadium.

Spurs are yet to win in the Premier League at their temporary home, losing to Chelsea and recording draws against Burnley and Swansea.

However, Mauricio Pochettino's side have beaten Borussia Dortmund and Barnsley at Wembley this season in the Champions League and Carabao Cup, respectively.

Boss Howe said: "I think with Tottenham it was just a case of acclimatising, I think they will be fine there eventually.

"Sometimes it can be difficult in the first few games when you change your environment but they are still a very capable and talented team.

"In the performance against Borussia Dortmund, they showed the quality they possess."

Tomorrow's clash has been widely tipped to attract a record Premier League crowd, the current mark standing at little more than 76,000.

Howe added: "From our perspective, the bigger the crowd and the bigger the game, they are the type of occasions I hope the players will relish.

"I certainly feel that way. I'm looking forward to the game but it's all about the performance for me. We have to prepare to play Tottenham and not the venue."
