BOSS Eddie Howe insisted Cherries will go “back to basics” in a bid to record their first Premier League win of the campaign tomorrow.

Brighton are the visitors to Vitality Stadium (8pm) with Cherries having suffered four straight defeats in the league so far this season.

Asked how he is set to go about turning around results at this morning’s press conference, Howe replied: “Going back to basics really and trying to get the fundamentals of our game functioning.

“Historically we have always been very good with the ball, very confident with very good movement ahead of the ball.

“We haven’t quite seen that and I think that’s been the most concerning thing.

“I think it’s a case of making sure we get that part of our game back very quickly.

“We just have to have a cool head. Stick to what we know we can do and go out and deliver.”

Ryan Fraser is expected to shake off the ankle injury he suffered at Arsenal to be fit for the clash.

Speaking about visitors Brighton, who sealed their first Premier League victory with a 3-1 win over West Brom last time out, Howe added: “From watching them play I think they are equipped.

“I think they have a good team, a good balance and a nice way of playing.

“They look like a solid team and, like most teams in the Premier League, they are going to be tough to beat.”
