WINGER Ryan Fraser is set to receive further treatment on the ankle injury he picked up at Arsenal.

The Scotland international was recalled to Cherries’ starting XI in place of Andrew Surman for the clash at the Emirates.

But his spell on the field lasted just 38 minutes before he was forced off with the injury, which was initially sustained during a challenge with Hector Bellerin earlier in the half.

The 23-year-old was replaced by Jordon Ibe.

Giving an update on the injury after the encounter, Fraser told the Daily Echo: “I rolled my ankle. I did it about 15 minutes in and tried to play on but it wasn’t to be.

“I tried to run it off but it didn’t work like that. It was just sore every time I changed direction.

“I have got it compressed and have iced it.

“I will probably be in for treatment and see what happens. I may get a scan, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Asked about the 3-0 defeat, Fraser replied: “In the first half we weren’t great to be honest.

“Everything seemed to be off. I can’t really put my finger on it.”

The winger will hope to be fit for when Cherries host Brighton & Hove Albion at Vitality Stadium on Friday (8pm).
