TABLOID reports are again linking Cherries with a big-money move for Leicester winger Demarai Gray.

The Sun says Cherries are poised to offer a club-record £25million for the England under-21 international, claiming Gray saw a potential move south as "an ideal platform to develop his Premier League career".

At the start of this month, it was widely reported that the Dorset club had tabled a £20million offer but the Daily Echo understands this is without substance.

Cherries reportedly had a series of bids rejected during Gray's spell at Birmingham, prior to signing for the Foxes.

Vitality Stadium boss Eddie Howe has admitted publicly his admiration of the 21-year-old's ability but last week declined to comment on the long-running speculation.

The ex-Birmingham City wide man scored a stunning goal in Leicester's 4-1 Carabao Cup win over Sheffield United last night.

Gray made 30 Premier League appearances last term, nine of which were starts, and the youngster has spoken to Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare about a lack of game time.
