RUMOURS John Terry could make a summer move to Cherries have resurfaced.

The former Chelsea captain was last month linked with a switch to Vitality Stadium after it had emerged he would be leaving the Blues at the end of the season.

At the time, sources close to the Daily Echo suggested the 36-year-old was not on Eddie Howe’s summer wishlist.

However, The Sun reports defender Terry has held talks with the Cherries boss and is "moving closer" to a switch to Dorset.

Ex-England star Terry would command wages of around £100,000 a week and could expect a 12-month deal, according to the tabloid.

The Sun also claims that if Cherries were to sign Terry, Howe's "desire to sign" Nathan Ake could be impacted.
